Chocolate cookies with marshmallow swirls make the perfect combo for anyone craving sweetness. The soft, chewy chocolate base pairs wonderfully with gooey marshmallow ribbons throughout. They're great when you need something sweet just for yourself or want to impress friends with a tasty treat!

INGREDIENTS
  • Salt: ¼ teaspoon, brings out sweetness while balancing flavors.
  • Vanilla extract: 2 teaspoons, adds extra flavor depth to the cookie base.
  • Marshmallow fluff: 1 cup, creates those sweet, gooey swirls that make these cookies special.
  • Granulated sugar: 1½ cups, adds sweetness and helps cookies spread properly.
  • Baking soda: ½ teaspoon, makes cookies rise and get that nice chewy texture.
  • Eggs: 2 large, at room temperature, hold everything together and add richness.
  • Unsalted butter: 1 cup, at room temperature, creates tender, soft cookies.
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder: ¾ cup, gives that deep chocolate taste.
  • All-purpose flour: 2 cups, forms the foundation of your cookie dough.
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 9:
Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before moving them to a wire rack to finish cooling.
Step 8:
Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges look set but centers stay soft. For extra gooey results, add more fluff halfway through baking time.
Step 7:
Roll dough into balls and arrange on your baking sheet. Press your thumb in the middle and drop 1 tsp marshmallow fluff into each dent.
Step 6:
Get your oven ready at 350°F (175°C) and put parchment paper on your baking sheets.
Step 5:
Wrap the dough and stick it in the fridge for at least an hour.
Step 4:
Slowly mix in your dry ingredients until your dough forms. You can add marshmallow swirls now or wait until after chilling.
Step 3:
Add eggs one by one, then mix in the vanilla extract.
Step 2:
Beat the butter and sugar in a big bowl until it looks fluffy and lighter in color, about 3-4 minutes.
Step 1:
Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Put it aside for later.
Serving and Storage Tips
  • For really gooey treats, warm cookies in the microwave for 5-10 seconds before eating.
  • Keep your cookies fresh in an airtight container up to 4 days.
  • These taste best when they're still slightly warm with melty marshmallow centers.
Helpful Notes
  • Try adding chocolate chips or some crushed nuts to make these cookies even more interesting.
  • The cookie dough can stay in your freezer for up to a month so you can bake fresh ones whenever you want.
