06 - 2 apples, peeled and sliced thin.
07 - 2 tablespoons of regular flour.
08 - 2 tablespoons of sugar (granulated).
09 - Cinnamon powder, about a teaspoon.
10 - Ground nutmeg, just 1/8 teaspoon.
11 - 43 grams (1/2 cup) of old-fashioned oats.
12 - 70 grams (about 1/3 cup) lightly packed brown sugar (light or dark).
13 - 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder.
14 - 31 grams (1/4 cup) of all-purpose flour.
15 - 4 tablespoons (1/4 cup) of cold, cubed unsalted butter.
16 - Salted caramel: homemade or a store-bought version.

# Directions:

01 - Set your oven to 300°F (149°C). Prepare an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper lining.
02 - Mix the butter (melted), sugar, vanilla, and salt in a mixing bowl. Add in the flour, combine, and press into the pan. Bake it for 15 minutes.
03 - Coat your apple slices with flour, sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Toss well to combine.
04 - Combine the oats, sugar (brown), flour, and cinnamon in a bowl. Work the cold butter into the mixture until it forms crumbs.
05 - Spread the apple layer evenly over the crust. Press them gently, then sprinkle the streusel over the top.
06 - Turn the oven up to 350°F (177°C) and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until it looks nicely golden.
07 - Let it cool for around 20 minutes, then transfer to the fridge for at least two hours (or leave it overnight).
08 - Cut into squares, drizzle with salted caramel, and dig in!
