Maple McGriddle Sandwich (Print Version)

A sweet-and-savory morning sandwich with maple pancakes, fluffy eggs, breakfast sausage, and melty cheese.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup of milk, used with the eggs.
02 - 6 eggs, needed for the filling.
03 - About 4 spoons of butter, to cook the eggs.
04 - Half a teaspoon of garlic powder.
05 - Around 1 and 1/3 cups of flour.
06 - 2/3 cup of milk, mixed for pancakes.
07 - Melted butter, about 3 tablespoons.
08 - One large egg, used for the pancakes.
09 - 1.5 teaspoons baking powder.
10 - 2.5 tablespoons of maple syrup.
11 - A full pound of sausage for breakfast.
12 - 8 slices of bacon, optional to add.
13 - 4 cheese slices, cheddar or American.
14 - Add salt and pepper however you like.

# Directions:

01 - Shape 4 patties from the sausage and cook each side for about 3 minutes. If adding bacon, cook these too.
02 - Combine the eggs, milk, and seasonings while whisking. Cook in small amounts, folding into neat squares. Add fresh butter before every batch.
03 - Stir together everything for the pancake mix so it’s smooth. Scoop 3 tablespoons of batter per pancake and cook them in groups. Make 8 in total to use as buns.
04 - Layer like this: bottom pancake, one cheese slice, a sausage patty, an egg portion, add bacon if you made it, and finish with the top pancake. Repeat for every sandwich.

# Notes:

01 - You can prepare homemade sausage using your favorite spices.
02 - A griddle speeds up cooking pancakes.
03 - Parts of this can be prepped earlier.
