Swirled Jam Cookie Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup jam (your choice: apricot, raspberry, or strawberry).
02 - ¼ teaspoon salt.
03 - 2¼ cups all-purpose flour.
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
05 - ½ cup granulated sugar.
06 - 4 ounces cream cheese, softened up.
07 - 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature.
08 - Optional: powdered sugar for dusting.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine the flour and salt to make a smooth dough.
02 - Whip the butter, cream cheese, and sugar until it’s fluffy. Toss in the vanilla.
03 - Make two dough discs, wrap them up, and cool in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
04 - Flatten the dough into a rectangle (12x10 inches), and smear jam, leaving the edges clean.
05 - Roll up the dough into logs, wrap them tightly, and refrigerate another 15-20 minutes.
06 - Cut into slices about ¼ inch thick and bake in a 350°F oven for 12-15 minutes until the edges are golden.
