Sweet Jam Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, pure.
02 - 1 large egg, room temperature.
03 - 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder.
04 - 1 cup sugar, granulated.
05 - 1 cup butter, salted and softened.
06 - 2 1/2 cups plain flour.
07 - 1 cup preserve (your favorite flavor).

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 325°F and let it preheat.
02 - Whip butter, sugar, and baking powder together for about 3-4 minutes until fluffy.
03 - Beat in the egg and vanilla until everything’s smooth.
04 - Add flour slowly on low speed and stop once it’s mixed in.
05 - Roll dough into balls 1 inch wide and place them 1 inch apart on the tray.
06 - Press a little hole in the middle of each cookie using your finger or a tool.
07 - Spoon about a teaspoon of jam into each indentation.
08 - Bake for 20 minutes and turn the tray around halfway through.
