Sweet Holiday Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Nonpareil sprinkles for topping.
02 - 3 tablespoons of milk.
03 - 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring.
04 - 2 cups of powdered sugar.
05 - 4 teaspoons of baking powder.
06 - 3 1/2 cups of regular-purpose flour.
07 - 2 teaspoons of almond or vanilla flavoring.
08 - 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter.
09 - 1 cup of white sugar.
10 - 4 large eggs.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine baking powder with flour using a whisk.
02 - Cream sugar, butter, and vanilla together until smooth.
03 - Add the eggs one by one, mixing as you go.
04 - Slowly combine the flour mix and knead until it feels firm without sticking.
05 - Wrap it in plastic and chill in the fridge for about an hour.
06 - Preheat your oven to 375°F. Lay parchment on baking trays.
07 - Form small balls (1 inch) or swirl shapes. Keep 2 inches of space between them.
08 - Pop into the oven for 8-10 minutes. Take them out when the bottoms are golden.
09 - Stir powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until it’s lump-free.
10 - Dip cookies in the glaze, then sprinkle with decorations.

# Notes:

01 - To get the best results, use butter that’s not too cold.
02 - Mix the dough gently so your cookies stay soft.
03 - Don’t glaze until the cookies are fully cooled.
04 - Without the glaze, these will freeze easily up to 3 months.
