03 - 1 onion, finely chopped
04 - ¼ cup cilantro leaves, minced
05 - 1 jalapeño pepper, chopped after taking out the seeds

→ Dressing

10 - ¼ cup lime juice, fresh
11 - ½ teaspoon cumin powder
12 - 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro, fresh

# Instructions:

01 - Put the chopped onion in a bowl with cold water to tone down its sharpness. Stir it a few times and let it sit for about 10 minutes while you prep other things.
02 - After draining the onion, toss it into a mixing bowl along with the diced avocado, tomatoes, jalapeño, and minced cilantro.
03 - In a smaller bowl, mix the dressing ingredients together until everything blends smoothly.
04 - Drizzle the dressing over the avocado salsa and carefully mix it so it’s evenly coated.
05 - Serve it up alongside some tortilla chips.

# Notes:

01 - If you want more spice, toss in some cayenne or red pepper flakes.
02 - White onions work fine, but red ones add a sweeter flavor.
03 - It tastes best right after making it.
