Chili Dogs Classic (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Beef Chili

01 - A pound of ground beef (85% lean, 15% fat)
02 - A teaspoon of olive oil
03 - One medium-sized onion, finely chopped
04 - Two minced garlic cloves
05 - Two tablespoons of tomato paste
06 - Fourteen ounces of crushed tomatoes
07 - A cup of beef stock
08 - One teaspoon of yellow mustard

→ Seasonings

09 - A tablespoon of chili powder
10 - A teaspoon of ground cumin
11 - A tablespoon of sweet paprika
12 - One teaspoon of oregano leaves
13 - A pinch of ground cinnamon
14 - One teaspoon of onion powder

→ Assembly

15 - Twelve hot dogs
16 - A dozen hot dog buns
17 - Grated cheddar cheese
18 - Chopped red onions (optional)
19 - Dill pickles, sliced (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Brown the beef with garlic and onion in a pan. Stir in the spices and tomato paste.
02 - Pour in the liquids, then leave it to gently cook for 30 minutes or up to 2 hours until it thickens up.
03 - Heat the hot dogs over medium for 7-10 minutes. In the final minute, toast the buns as well.
04 - Start with mustard, add the hot dog, spoon on the chili, sprinkle cheese, and include any toppings you like.
