Cheesy Stuffed Rings (Print Version)

Golden onion rings packed with stretchy mozzarella. It’s the ultimate mashup of onion rings and mozzarella sticks in one tasty bite.

# Ingredients:

01 - Oil for frying.
02 - 5 eggs.
03 - 3 slices of mozzarella cheese.
04 - 2 large white onions.
05 - Marinara sauce for dipping.
06 - 2 cups (230g) breadcrumbs.
07 - 2 cups (250g) plain flour.

# Directions:

01 - Bring oil to 350°F and fry the rings till they've got a crispy golden crust.
02 - Place onto paper towels to drain. Enjoy hot while dipping into marinara.
03 - Arrange your dipping set-up with shallow bowls for flour, whisked eggs, and breadcrumbs.
04 - Cover each ring in flour, dunk in egg, coat in breadcrumbs. To make it crunchier, repeat egg and breadcrumbs.
05 - Pop the coated rings back into the freezer till they're completely firm.
06 - Cut onions into rings about 1/2-inch thick. Nest a small ring inside a bigger one and pair them up.
07 - Slice the mozzarella into thin strips. Tuck the cheese into the space between your onion rings. Freeze for at least an hour.
