Easy Cowboy Butter (Print Version)

A quick, herb-packed butter for spreading or dipping.

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 tablespoon coarse Dijon Mustard
02 - ½ cup softened unsalted butter

→ Fresh Herbs

03 - 2 teaspoons minced garlic
04 - 1 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley
05 - 1 tablespoon finely cut chives
06 - 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves

→ Seasonings

07 - ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
08 - ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
09 - ⅛ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
10 - 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
11 - ¼ teaspoon coarse kosher salt
12 - ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper

# Directions:

01 - Stir or process everything together until the mixture looks consistent.
02 - Shape into a log with plastic wrap and chill for 2 hours or overnight.
03 - Heat in the microwave for 20-second bursts, stirring between until melted.
