# Ingredients:

→ Essential Ingredients

01 - 3 large eggs
02 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
03 - 3 tablespoons neutral oil (like vegetable or canola)
04 - 1 can (15 oz) black beans, washed and drained (425g)

→ Powdered Mix

05 - ⅔ cup white sugar (120g)
06 - ¼ cup plain cocoa powder (30g)
07 - ½ teaspoon baking powder
08 - ½ teaspoon instant coffee or fine grounds (optional)
09 - ¼ teaspoon salt

→ Extras

10 - ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces (60g)

# Directions:

01 - Turn the oven to 350°F (176°C). Use a food processor to blend the black beans until smooth. In a big bowl, mix together the bean puree with the eggs, oil, and vanilla.
02 - Stir together the cocoa, sugar, salt, baking powder, and the coffee (if using) in another bowl. Add this dry mix to the wet mixture, then toss in the chocolate chips and combine.
03 - Prepare an 8x8 or 9x9 pan by greasing it and pressing in parchment paper. Pour batter into the pan. Bake for 30-40 minutes until the edges look done and the center is mostly firm.
04 - Let the brownies cool all the way down before you cut them into pieces.

# Notes:

01 - For thicker brownies, double the ingredients
02 - Can last 7 days in the fridge
03 - Store in the freezer for up to 3 months
