Sweet Cherry Fudge (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter.
02 - 1/2 teaspoon almond extract.
03 - 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk.
04 - Pinch of salt.
05 - 1 cup maraschino cherries, chopped and drained.
06 - 3 cups white chocolate chips.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.

# Instructions:

01 - Grab an 8x8 dish and line it with parchment, leaving extra on the sides for easy lifting later.
02 - In a saucepan on medium-low, stir together chocolate, milk, and butter until everything's melted down and smooth.
03 - Take it off the stove and mix in both extracts along with the salt.
04 - Carefully fold the cherries into the mixture without overdoing it.
05 - Pour the mixture into your pan and level out the top as best as you can.
06 - Let it firm up in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
07 - Use the parchment handles to lift the block out and slice it into neat squares.

01 - Pick good-quality white chocolate for better results.
02 - Make sure to drain cherries thoroughly.
03 - Don't overdo it when mixing the cherries in.
04 - Store in the fridge; it'll last about 2 weeks.
05 - Freezing? It keeps for 3 months in the freezer.
