Seared Ahi Tuna (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tuna steaks, around a pound or so each.
02 - 3 tablespoons soy sauce.
03 - 1 tablespoon sesame seed blend (Everything Bagel blend works).
04 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil.
05 - Half a teaspoon of black pepper.
06 - Half a teaspoon of table salt.
07 - 1 tablespoon of spicy or plain honey.
08 - Juice from a whole lemon.
09 - About 3 tablespoons of coconut oil for frying.
10 - Black sesame seeds for topping.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, oil, and spices in a bowl.
02 - Put the fish in a dish and pour your marinade all over it.
03 - Cover up the dish and let it sit in the fridge for 3 to 6 hours.
04 - Use high heat to warm up coconut oil in your skillet.
05 - Cook the tuna on each side for no more than 60 seconds.
06 - Wait 5 minutes, then slice it against the grain.
07 - Add sesame seeds on top before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Whip up some extra marinade to use as a sauce on the side.
02 - A Dutch oven will help keep the oil from spitting everywhere.
03 - Coconut oil can handle the heat without burning.
04 - Leftovers? Perfect for tacos or tossing into a salad.
