Shrimp Teriyaki Noodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Proteins and Noodles

01 - 1/2 pound shrimp, deveined and peeled
02 - 1/2 pound thinly sliced flank steak
03 - 8 ounces of udon noodles

→ Fresh Veggies

04 - 1 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
05 - 3 green onions, chopped up
06 - 2 cups of broccoli florets

→ Seasonings and Sauce

07 - 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
08 - 1/4 cup of teriyaki sauce
09 - 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
10 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
11 - 2 minced garlic cloves
12 - 1 tablespoon honey
13 - Optional: sesame seeds for toppings

# Instructions:

01 - Follow the instructions on the noodle package to cook. Once finished, drain and set aside.
02 - On medium-high heat, warm up the oil in a large pan or wok. Toss in the thinly sliced steak and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned. Place it aside after cooking.
03 - Using the same skillet, add your shrimp and let them cook for 2 to 3 minutes until they turn pink and firm up. Then remove and set aside with the steak.
04 - Throw the broccoli and red bell pepper into the pan. Let them cook for about 4–5 minutes until they’re crisp but tender.
05 - Stir in the chopped green onions, garlic, and ginger. Cook this mix for around 1–2 minutes until the aromas really come through.
06 - Grab a small bowl and whisk together your teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, and honey until smooth.
07 - Put the cooked steak and shrimp back into the skillet. Pour the sauce on top and stir it gently. Add your cooked noodles to the mix and toss until coated evenly and warmed up.
08 - Sprinkle sesame seeds over the dish if you’d like. Serve it right away while it’s still hot.

# Notes:

01 - Do some prep in advance! Chop the veggies and mix the sauce ahead of time to save yourself effort.
02 - Feel free to swap things out! You can use chicken, tofu, or any veggies you prefer.
03 - Store any leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in a pan over medium heat for the best texture and flavor.
04 - If gluten is a concern, double-check your udon noodles since many include wheat.
