Sweet Pecan Bars (Print Version)

Fast and tasty pecan bars made with pre-made crust. Great for when you're craving something sweet without extra work.

# Ingredients:

→ Crust Base

01 - 1 pack (16 oz) of chilled pie dough (2 rolls)

→ Filling Mixture

02 - 1 cup golden corn syrup
03 - 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
04 - 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
05 - 3 eggs, large
06 - 1 tsp vanilla essence
07 - 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
08 - 1/4 tsp salt

# Directions:

01 - Turn the oven to 350°F (175°C) and let it warm up. Before that, coat a 9×13-inch pan with some non-stick spray or grease.
02 - Unroll your pie crusts carefully and spread them out into your greased pan. Make sure the bottom's all covered.
03 - In a big bowl, stir together the corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Gently mix in the pecans.
04 - Pour the pecan mixture over the crust and let it settle evenly across the pan.
05 - Bake for about 30-35 minutes. You'll know it's ready when the filling is set and the top is golden. Cool completely before slicing.
