Sweet Grilled Pineapple (Print Version)

Golden pineapple with cinnamon and maple syrup, made quickly in an air fryer. A lighter dessert ready in 20 minutes.

# Ingredients:

→ Pineapple Mix

01 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon
02 - 2 tablespoons maple syrup
03 - 1 tablespoon melted vegan butter (optional)
04 - 2 full cups pineapple slices (about half of a small one)

→ Optional Dip with Lime & Chili

05 - 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
06 - 1 tablespoon lime juice (around 1/2 a lime)
07 - 3 tablespoons vegan mayo or cashew cream

# Directions:

01 - Cut off the peel and core the pineapple, then slice into rounds or chunks. Toss about 2 cups into a bowl.
02 - In a small bowl, mix the butter, cinnamon, and maple syrup. Drizzle this over the pineapple and toss gently so everything gets covered.
03 - Lay the coated pineapple pieces in one layer inside the air fryer basket. Cook at 380°F for 12-15 minutes, flipping them halfway, until the edges caramelize.
04 - While the pineapple's cooking, stir the vegan mayo or cashew cream with lime juice and chili powder in a small bowl.
05 - Eat warm or chilled. Pair with the lime-chili dip if you'd like.

# Notes:

01 - Load pineapple pieces one by one to avoid breaking them.
02 - Can stay fresh in the fridge for 2 to 3 days.
03 - Works well served warm or cold.
