Sweet Bacon Carrots (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound of bacon, sliced thin.
02 - 2 pounds of peeled carrots, no thicker than half an inch each.
03 - 4 tablespoons of maple syrup.

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven hot by setting it to 400°F.
02 - Start at the thicker end, and wrap each carrot snugly with a piece of bacon.
03 - Put the carrots on a wire rack that's sitting on a baking tray.
04 - Pop them in the oven for about 25 minutes, or until the bacon starts to get crispy.
05 - Use a brush to coat every side of the carrots with maple syrup.
06 - Put them back in for another 8 to 10 minutes, until the bacon is golden and crunchy.
07 - Enjoy them while they're still warm!

# Notes:

01 - Go for thin bacon—it crisps up the easiest.
02 - Sprinkle on some cayenne or brown sugar for a kick.
03 - Store them in the fridge for up to 3 days.
04 - Split thicker carrots lengthwise for even cooking.
05 - A wire rack ensures nice, even results.
