Colorful summer iced matcha (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Matcha Mix

01 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
02 - ½ to 1 tsp matcha powder (use less or more based on your preference)
03 - ¼ cup (60 ml) water, either hot or room temp
04 - 1 tsp of a natural sweetener (like honey, maple syrup, or what you like best)

→ Berry Layer

05 - 4 or 5 strawberries, fresh if you can (frozen works, but let them thaw first)

→ To Put It All Together

06 - ½ cup (125 ml) of milk or your favorite plant-based option
07 - Ice cubes

# Instructions:

01 - Grab the strawberries and get rid of the stems. Use a fork to mash them in a bowl until they're nice and mushy, or toss them in a blender if you want it super smooth.
02 - In another little bowl, whisk together the matcha powder with water. Stir in your sweetener and vanilla extract. Keep whisking till there aren’t any clumps left.
03 - Fill a big glass with ice cubes. First, pour the mashed-up strawberry layer over the ice, and then add the milk on top.
04 - Gently add the matcha mix so it sits nicely on the milk layer. You'll see the green matcha float on top.
05 - Before drinking, stir well using a long spoon or straw to combine all the flavors. Best enjoyed right away for both taste and looks.

# Notes:

01 - Go with a full teaspoon of matcha for a bold flavor or stick to ½ teaspoon if you want it less intense.
02 - You can use any milk here—dairy, almond, oat, or coconut—whatever suits you.
03 - Drink this creation as soon as you can, because the layers will eventually mix together naturally.
