Grab the strawberries and get rid of the stems. Use a fork to mash them in a bowl until they're nice and mushy, or toss them in a blender if you want it super smooth.

In another little bowl, whisk together the matcha powder with water. Stir in your sweetener and vanilla extract. Keep whisking till there aren’t any clumps left.

Fill a big glass with ice cubes. First, pour the mashed-up strawberry layer over the ice, and then add the milk on top.

Gently add the matcha mix so it sits nicely on the milk layer. You'll see the green matcha float on top.

Before drinking, stir well using a long spoon or straw to combine all the flavors. Best enjoyed right away for both taste and looks.
