Soft Chocolate Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 16 tablespoons (1 cup) of plain, softened butter.
02 - Half a cup of white sugar.
03 - A packed cup of golden brown sugar.
04 - Two big eggs at room temp.
05 - 2 teaspoons of vanilla.
06 - 3 cups of regular flour.
07 - 1 teaspoon sifted baking soda.
08 - 1 teaspoon of table salt.
09 - 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips (save 1/4 cup for topping).

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and get your baking pans ready with parchment.
02 - Use paddle attachment to whip butter and sugars for 5 minutes till fluffy.
03 - Add eggs one by one, then the vanilla, mixing after each addition.
04 - Whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda in a separate bowl.
05 - Gradually blend the dry mix into the creamy mixture, one-third at a time.
06 - Stir 1 3/4 cups of the chocolate chips into the dough.
07 - Roll dough into balls (about 3 tbsp each) and space them 2 inches apart.
08 - Press the leftover chips on top of the cookie dough balls.
09 - Pop cookies into the oven for 12-15 minutes. Look for golden edges, but the centers should stay soft.
10 - Cool on the baking tray for 5 minutes, then move them to a rack to cool fully.
