Easy Pulled Pork Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4-5 garlic cloves
02 - 2 to 2½ pounds pork tenderloin (shoulder or butt works too)

→ Sauce

03 - 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
04 - 1/3 cup of soy sauce
05 - 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
06 - 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
07 - 1-2 teaspoons red pepper flakes (skip if you don’t like heat)
08 - 1/4 cup honey
09 - 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
10 - 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce (or try molasses or maple syrup)

# Instructions:

01 - Toss pork into the slow cooker, then spread garlic cloves around the meat.
02 - In a small bowl, stir together the soy sauces, honey, sesame oil, vinegar, cornstarch, ginger, and chili flakes.
03 - Drizzle the sauce all over the pork, making sure each surface gets some (but it doesn’t have to be swimming in sauce).
04 - Set slow cooker to high for about 2 to 2½ hours or low for roughly 4 hours. Cook until the pork is super tender and falling apart.
05 - Remove the garlic. Use a fork to pull the pork into shreds, then heat on high until warmed through. Pair it with noodles, rice, or pile it into tacos or sliders.

# Notes:

01 - Larger pork pieces may need 8-10 hours on low instead.
02 - Use any vinegar you’ve got on hand as a swap.
03 - Toss in shredded cabbage or carrots for extra crunch!
