Sausage Rotel Cream Cheese Crescents (Print Version)

Buttery crescents packed with sausage, cream cheese, and Rotel—ideal bite-sized snacks for parties.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 1 pound plain sausage, cooked and crumbled
02 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
03 - 10 ounces Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained very well
04 - 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped (optional)
05 - 1-2 tablespoons cilantro, finely chopped (optional)

→ Pastry

06 - 2 tubes crescent rolls, each triangle cut in half lengthwise

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage crumbles, cream cheese, drained Rotel, and herbs if using. Set aside.
03 - Unroll the crescent rolls. Using a pizza cutter, cut each triangle in half lengthwise to create long, thin triangles.
04 - Using a small cookie scoop or a heaping teaspoon, place the sausage mixture onto the base of each crescent roll triangle. Roll tightly.
05 - Place the filled rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, until browned and thoroughly cooked.
