Quick Easy Butter Chicken (Print Version)

Tender chicken in creamy tomato sauce, perfectly spiced and ready in 35 minutes. Great with rice or naan.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tbsp butter
02 - 1 lb boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
03 - 1 onion, finely chopped
04 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 tbsp ginger, grated
06 - 1 tsp garam masala
07 - 1 tsp cumin
08 - 1 tsp coriander
09 - 1/2 tsp turmeric
10 - 1/2 tsp chili powder
11 - 1 cup tomato sauce
12 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
13 - 1/2 cup plain yogurt
14 - Salt to taste
15 - Fresh cilantro for garnish
16 - Cooked rice or naan for serving

# Directions:

01 - Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
02 - Add onions, garlic, and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
03 - Stir in garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and chili powder, cooking for 1 minute.
04 - Add chicken and cook until browned.
05 - Pour in tomato sauce, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes.
06 - Stir in cream and yogurt, cooking for another 5 minutes.
07 - Season with salt and garnish with fresh cilantro.
08 - Serve with rice or naan.
