Pizza Sliders (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Sliders

01 - 12 small buns (soft Hawaiian rolls are great if you like a hint of sweetness)
02 - 1/2 cup pizza sauce, with extra on the side for dipping
03 - 1 cup mozzarella, shredded into small pieces
04 - 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices (or regular ones chopped smaller)

→ For the Topping

05 - 1/4 cup melted butter, unsalted
06 - 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
07 - 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (skip if you don’t want it spicy)
08 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
09 - 2 tablespoons powdered Parmesan cheese
10 - 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped up for garnishing

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven to 350°F (175°C). Coat the inside of a baking dish or a baking sheet with some cooking spray or a little oil.
02 - Cut your buns horizontally in one big piece, so they stay together. Lay the bottom part into your pan.
03 - Spread your pizza sauce over those bottom buns. Sprinkle on half the cheese, lay down all the pepperoni, then scatter the other half of your mozzarella on top. Place the top buns over everything.
04 - Mix melted butter with garlic powder, oregano, and chili flakes (if you want it spicy) in a little bowl. Use a brush to spread this mix all over the bun tops.
05 - Cover the dish with foil and pop it into the oven for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is gooey. Take the foil off and bake for an extra 5 minutes to get the tops golden and crispy.
06 - Sprinkle Parmesan and basil on top. Let it cool for a few minutes, then cut into separate sliders. Serve with extra sauce for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - Using Hawaiian rolls gives these pizza sliders a great blend of sweet and savory flavors.
