Curried Family Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1.2 pounds of sausages.
02 - 1 carrot, sliced thin after peeling.
03 - ½ teaspoon of black pepper.
04 - ½ teaspoon of salt.
05 - ⅔ cup of sweet corn kernels.
06 - 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour.
07 - ⅔ cup of green peas.
08 - 2 ¼ cups of stock.
09 - 1 onion, finely chopped.
10 - 1 tablespoon of cooking oil.
11 - 1 tablespoon of curry seasoning.

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up some oil in a roomy pan. Fry sausages over medium heat for about 6-8 minutes until brown and fully cooked.
02 - Take sausages out of the pan, chop them into thick pieces, then cover with foil so they stay warm.
03 - Use the same pan to cook the chopped onions for a couple of minutes till soft and golden.
04 - Stir curry seasoning and flour into the onions until blended well.
05 - Pour the stock in little by little, stirring to create a smooth, thick sauce.
06 - Add the sliced carrot and sprinkle in salt and pepper. Let it cook for around 5 minutes at a gentle simmer.
07 - Put the sausage pieces back into the pan and toss in the peas and corn. Simmer for another 2 minutes until everything is warmed through.

01 - Sausages made from pork, beef, chicken, or turkey all work great here.
02 - Pick a curry powder mix that fits your taste.
03 - Feel free to use vegetable, chicken, or beef stock.
