Coffee Chocolate Rings (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda.
02 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
03 - 1 large egg.
04 - 6 tablespoons of light brown sugar.
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
06 - 1/3 cup milk (make sure it's at room temp).
07 - 1 cup plain flour.
08 - 2 tablespoons melted butter (unsalted).
09 - 1 tablespoon sour cream or Greek yogurt.
10 - 2 teaspoons coffee powder (instant).
11 - 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
12 - 1 tablespoon of heavy cream.
13 - 2 tablespoons butter (unsalted).
14 - 1 tablespoon syrup (corn).
15 - Optional: chocolate sprinkles.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the oven to 350°F and let it warm up.
02 - Oil the donut tray or grease it lightly.
03 - Stir together flour, salt, and baking soda.
04 - Beat together sugar, melted butter, egg, milk, vanilla, coffee, and yogurt.
05 - Gently mix the dry stuff into the wet mix.
06 - Spoon the batter into the donut molds, about 2/3 of the way full.
07 - Let them bake for 8-10 minutes until they firm up.
08 - Leave them in the tray for 5 to 10 minutes to cool slightly.
09 - Take them out and set them aside to cool all the way.
10 - Heat up all the glaze ingredients until melted and smooth.
11 - Submerge the donuts in the glaze so the tops are coated.
12 - Sprinkle chocolate sprinkles on top while the glaze is wet (if you want).
