In a small bowl or jar, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, fresh herbs, salt, and pepper until all ingredients are combined.

Place chicken in a shallow dish or a sealable plastic bag. Pour most of the lemon herb sauce over the chicken, reserving a small amount for brushing during grilling. Place in the refrigerator and marinate for 30 minutes to 2 hours. Discard marinade before grilling.

Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat and brush with oil to prevent sticking. Grill chicken for 5 to 6 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and no longer pink with an internal temperature of 165°F. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
