Layer the sausage slices and frozen pierogies evenly in the dish.

Whisk together sour cream, softened cream cheese, chicken broth, half the green onions, and pepper. Pour the mix over everything in the dish.

Cover tightly with foil and cook for 30 minutes. Take off the foil, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, and bake another 10 minutes without covering.
