Honey Peach White Cheddar Cheese (Print Version)

Sweet peaches, cheddar, honey, and ricotta melt together on toasted sourdough for a golden, flavorful sandwich.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 peaches, sliced
02 - 4 slices sourdough bread (or challah, multigrain, or thick white bread)
03 - 2-4 tablespoons ricotta cheese (optional)
04 - 1 tablespoon honey
05 - 4 slices white cheddar cheese (more can be added based on preference)
06 - 2 tablespoons butter

→ Optional Ingredients

07 - 4 slices crispy bacon
08 - Fresh basil
09 - Balsamic glaze

# Directions:

01 - Peel and slice the peaches, then set them aside.
02 - Spread ricotta cheese onto one side of the bread slices. Top one slice with peach slices and drizzle with honey. Top the other slice with cheddar cheese.
03 - Spread butter on the outside of each slice of bread.
04 - Heat a skillet over medium-low heat or use a panini press. Add the assembled sandwiches and cook until the cheese has melted. If the bread is browning too quickly, reduce the heat to low.
05 - If using optional ingredients, remove the top of the sandwich and place them on the melted cheese.
06 - Serve the sandwiches immediately as they are best enjoyed warm.
