Baked Honey Pork Chops (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Pork Chops

01 - 4 pork chops without bones (about 1 inch thick)
02 - 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
03 - Season with some salt and pepper

→ For the Honey Mustard Sauce

04 - 1/4 cup of honey
05 - A tablespoon of apple cider vinegar or try white balsamic
06 - 1 tablespoon of regular yellow mustard
07 - 2 tablespoons of whole-grain mustard
08 - 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
09 - 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
10 - A pinch of salt and pepper (adjust to your liking)
11 - Optional: freshly chopped parsley for sprinkling on top

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven to 425°F (220°C) to get it hot before cooking.
02 - Coat the pork chops in oil and season both sides with salt and pepper. Lay them on a greased baking tray with high edges. Slide them into the oven for 20 minutes.
03 - As your pork chops bake, mix together honey, both types of mustard, vinegar, garlic powder, paprika, and some salt and pepper in a bowl. Taste it to check if you'd like to tweak the sweetness or tanginess to your liking.
04 - Take the partially baked chops and coat them with the honey mustard sauce. Use your oven’s broil setting on high heat and cook for another 5-10 minutes. Wait until the chops are fully done and the sauce becomes sticky and slightly golden.
05 - Scoop the sticky sauce left on the pan over the cooked pork chops, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - For juicier pork chops, let them sit on the counter for about 15 minutes before cooking so they’re not cold.
02 - Pork is safe to eat when the internal temperature hits 145°F (63°C) after letting it sit for 3 minutes.
