Sticky Honey Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken

01 - 3 tablespoons cornstarch
02 - ½ teaspoon black pepper
03 - ½ teaspoon salt
04 - 1½ pounds chicken breasts without skin or bones, diced into 1-inch chunks

→ Sauce

05 - 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
06 - 1 teaspoon spicy sriracha
07 - 2 teaspoons cornstarch
08 - 2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
09 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
10 - 2 tablespoons water or chicken broth
11 - ⅓ cup honey

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a napkin or paper towel to dry off the chicken. Cut it into small chunks. Season them with pepper and salt, then toss everything in a medium bowl with cornstarch until fully coated.
02 - Combine the honey, broth, soy sauce, ginger, cornstarch, sriracha, and garlic in a small bowl. Stir everything smoothly and keep it handy. Stir again just before using.
03 - In a big skillet, warm 1 tablespoon of oil on medium-high heat. Cook the chicken in smaller portions for around 5-6 minutes, making sure they brown and cook all the way. Move cooked pieces to a dish you can cover to keep warm.
04 - Pour the mixed sauce into the same skillet over medium heat. While whisking constantly, let it cook and thicken until it looks shiny, which should only take about a minute.
05 - Add your cooked chicken back into the pan. Stir to coat it in the sauce, then warm it up for another minute. Sprinkle chopped green onions on top if you like and serve warm over noodles or rice.

# Notes:

01 - Tender chicken chunks covered in an irresistible sweet honey glaze, ready in less than half an hour.
02 - Goes great with jasmine rice, noodles, or a side of stir-fried greens.
