01 -
Roll the beef into four evenly sized balls. Heat up a cast iron skillet or griddle on high until it's super hot.
02 -
Put the beef balls on your heated skillet, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and a teaspoon of burger sauce. Add the sliced onions on top, then press down with parchment paper and a spatula to flatten them thinly.
03 -
Let the beef cook until the edges are crispy and brown. Flip them over, add 2 slices of American cheese to each patty, and cook until the cheese is gooey and beef hits 165°F inside.
04 -
Spread some burger sauce on 4 slices of bread. Stack each slice with a cheesy patty, a handful of pickles, and a good covering of shredded Havarti. Put another bread slice on top.
05 -
In a skillet, melt butter on medium heat. Cook the sandwiches on both sides until they're golden brown and the cheese inside is nice and melted.
06 -
Give the sandwiches a minute to cool off before you cut and dig in. Serve with extra burger sauce for dunking!
