Fried Cheese Ravioli Appetizer (Print Version)

Crispy cheese ravioli coated in savory breadcrumbs, topped with parmesan, and paired with marinara sauce.

# Ingredients:

01 - 20 ounces refrigerated cheese ravioli
02 - 2 eggs
03 - 1/3 cup milk
04 - 2 cups Italian breadcrumbs
05 - oil for frying
06 - 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
07 - 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
08 - marinara sauce for serving

# Directions:

01 - Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
02 - Place the eggs and milk in a small bowl, and whisk until thoroughly combined.
03 - Place the breadcrumbs on a plate or in a shallow bowl.
04 - Dip each ravioli into the egg mixture, then roll into the breadcrumbs. Repeat the process with all of the raviolis. Place the raviolis in a single layer on the sheet pan.
05 - Heat 3 inches of oil in a deep pot to 350 degrees F.
06 - Add 6-8 ravioli to the pan, and fry for 3-4 minutes or until browned all over. Repeat the process with the remaining raviolis.
07 - Sprinkle with parmesan and parsley, and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - You can use frozen ravioli, just thaw them before proceeding with the recipe.
