Classic spaghetti with robust meat sauce – flavorful, tender, and ideal for family meals.

# Ingredients:

→ Meat and Protein

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 8 oz Italian sausage

→ Seasoning and Condiments

03 - 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
04 - 1 tsp sea salt
05 - 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
06 - 2 Tbsp butter
07 - 1 Tbsp sugar

→ Vegetables

08 - 1/2 white onion (left whole)

→ Pasta

09 - 1 lb spaghetti

→ Toppings

10 - Grated Parmesan cheese
11 - Red pepper flakes

→ Canned Goods

12 - 28 oz crushed tomatoes

# Directions:

01 - Heat a large saucepan or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add ground beef and Italian sausage to the pan. Season with Italian seasoning and salt, breaking up the meat with a spoon. Cook until browned, about 7-9 minutes.
02 - Add crushed tomatoes, red wine vinegar, butter, and sugar to the meat mixture. Stir to combine. Submerge the onion half (leave whole) into the sauce. Simmer over low heat for 20-30 minutes. Remove the onion before serving.
03 - While the sauce is simmering, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
04 - Serve the meat sauce over the cooked spaghetti. Top with grated Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes to taste.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, do not chop the onion. Keeping it whole allows it to flavor the sauce without leaving onion pieces.
