Cook tater tots at 425°F for 28 minutes. Flip them over about halfway to make sure they're crisp all over.

Set the tots aside so they cool enough for you to touch.

Pop 4-6 tater tots onto a wooden skewer. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set them up there.

Spread grated cheese, bacon bits, and part of the green onions over each skewer.

Put the tray back in the oven for around 5-7 minutes. Pull it out when the cheese is gooey and bubbling.

Scatter the left-over green onions on top and serve with sour cream for dipping.
