Creme Brulee Donuts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tbsp heavy cream.
02 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.
03 - 1 ½ cups plain flour.
04 - ¼ cup white sugar.
05 - 1 tbsp baking powder.
06 - ½ tsp table salt.
07 - ¾ cup full-fat milk.
08 - 1 large egg.
09 - 2 tbsp melted butter (unsalted).
10 - 2 tbsp soft brown sugar (for topping).

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and get your donut pan ready by greasing it or lining it with parchment.
02 - Take a mixing bowl and whisk together the flour, white sugar, salt, and baking powder.
03 - In a separate bowl, stir the milk, egg, vanilla, and melted butter together until smooth.
04 - Slowly add the wet mix into the dry mix. Give it a quick stir—don’t overdo it.
05 - Load the batter into the donut pan, filling up each slot about three-quarters of the way.
06 - Pop it into the oven for 12–15 minutes. Keep an eye out—you're looking for golden edges and a clean toothpick.
07 - As soon as they’re warm, sprinkle brown sugar on top of the donuts evenly.
08 - Torch the sugar until crunchy and golden. No torch? Stick them under the broiler for 1-2 minutes instead.
09 - Dig into these soft and creamy donuts right away. They’ll disappear fast!
