Creamy Cucumber Salad Dill (Print Version)

Fresh cucumbers and dill in creamy dressing, ideal for potlucks or grilled meals. Light and full of flavor.

# Ingredients:

→ Salad

01 - 3 cups thinly sliced cucumbers
02 - 1 cup thinly sliced red onion

→ Dressing

03 - 1/2 cup sour cream
04 - 1 Tablespoon white vinegar
05 - 2 Tablespoons minced fresh dill
06 - 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
07 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
08 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

# Directions:

01 - Cut the onion into thin slices using a sharp knife or mandoline. Wash the cucumbers, then cut them into thin slices and pat them dry with paper towels to absorb excess moisture.
02 - In a medium mixing bowl, combine sour cream, white vinegar, minced fresh dill, granulated sugar, salt, and garlic powder. Stir until well combined.
03 - Add the sliced cucumbers and red onion to the dressing and toss gently to coat.
04 - Garnish with additional fresh dill and black pepper if desired. Serve immediately or cover and chill before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

# Notes:

01 - This salad tastes best when made at least 1 hour in advance to allow the flavors to combine. For longer storage, keep the vegetables and dressing separate, and mix them just before serving.
