Cream Cheese Bacon Doritos Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 7.5 oz chive and onion cream cheese
02 - 10.5 oz condensed cream of bacon soup
03 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - ½ cup real bacon bits

→ Chicken

05 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

→ Coating

06 - 1 egg
07 - ½ cup crushed Doritos

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
02 - Combine cream cheese and cream of bacon soup in a medium mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer to blend until smooth.
03 - Add shredded mozzarella cheese and bacon bits to the mixture. Stir well to combine.
04 - Slice each chicken breast horizontally without cutting through completely, creating a pocket.
05 - Spoon the cream cheese mixture into the pocket of each chicken breast. Fold the top half back over to seal the filling.
06 - Place the stuffed chicken breasts into a greased 9 x 13 inch (23 x 33 cm) baking dish.
07 - Beat the egg in a small bowl, then brush the tops of the chicken breasts with the beaten egg.
08 - Sprinkle crushed Doritos over the top of the chicken breasts, pressing gently to adhere to the egg wash.
09 - Bake in the preheated oven for 33 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
10 - Remove the dish from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
