04 - 1 cup of dark, unsweetened cocoa.
05 - 1 1/4 cups white sugar.
06 - Half a cup of packed brown sugar.
07 - Half a cup of canola or vegetable oil.
08 - 4 big eggs.
09 - 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla.
10 - 2/3 cup of icing sugar for covering.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F and prep baking trays with parchment or a silicone liner.
02 - Stir together flour, salt, and baking powder in a small bowl.
03 - In a medium bowl, combine cocoa, both sugars, and oil. Add eggs one by one, then stir in the vanilla.
04 - Blend the dry ingredients into the wet mix a little at a time until it’s all combined.
05 - Chill the dough in the fridge for somewhere between 30 to 45 minutes.
06 - Shape dough into balls about 1 1/4 inches wide, then roll them generously in the powdered sugar.
07 - Put the dough balls on the tray, keeping 2-2 1/2 inches space between them, and bake for 10 to 11 minutes.
08 - Let the cookies sit on the tray for 2 minutes before moving them to wire racks to cool completely.

# Notes:

01 - Keep dough chilled while working.
02 - Avoid baking too long if you want soft cookies.
03 - Test with one cookie first to check texture.
