Chocolate Pumpkin Loaf (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups canned pumpkin.
02 - 4 tsp pumpkin pie spice.
03 - 1 tbsp vanilla.
04 - 1 cup applesauce or oil.
05 - ⅔ cup granulated sugar.
06 - 3 cups all-purpose flour.
07 - 2 cups chocolate chips.
08 - 3 large eggs.
09 - ⅔ cup brown sugar.
10 - 1 tsp salt.
11 - 1 tsp baking soda.
12 - 1 tsp baking powder.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven at 350°F and grease two loaf pans, size 8x4.
02 - Toss together the flour, pumpkin pie spice, salt, baking soda, and baking powder in a big bowl.
03 - In another bowl, stir the canned pumpkin, applesauce or oil, vanilla, eggs, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth.
04 - Add the wet mixture to the dry one and stir just until it comes together.
05 - Carefully mix in the chocolate chips, keeping a handful aside for topping.
06 - Pour the batter into the pans and scatter the remaining chocolate chips on top.
07 - Bake for around 50-55 minutes, checking with a toothpick to see if the center comes out clean.
08 - Leave the loaves in their pans for 10 minutes, then gently move them to a rack to cool fully.
