Cheesy Kielbasa Potato (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Essential Ingredients

01 - 2 cups of cheddar cheese, shredded
02 - 1 small diced onion
03 - 1 lb of kielbasa sausage, cut into thin rounds (1/4-inch)
04 - 5 peeled medium potatoes, sliced thinly

→ Velvety Sauce

05 - 1 cup of sour cream
06 - A can of cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
07 - 2 tbsp of melted butter
08 - Pinch of paprika (1/4 tsp)
09 - Tiny pinch (1/4 tsp) of garlic powder
10 - Salt and pepper, season as needed
11 - Chopped parsley for finish (1/4 cup, optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Set oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a dish measuring 9x13 inches.
02 - Mix together sour cream, chicken soup, melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a big bowl.
03 - In the baking dish, spread a layer with half the potato slices. Add half of the sausage slices and sprinkle on half the onion. Cover with half the sauce mixture and then sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese.
04 - Repeat the process with the other half of the potatoes, sausage, onion, sauce mixture, and cheese.
05 - Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and pop it in the oven for 40 minutes.
06 - After removing the foil, continue baking for another 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese bubbles and the potatoes soften.
07 - For a fancy touch, sprinkle parsley on top before serving warm.

# Notes:

01 - For a smoky flavor, swap kielbasa with smoked sausage.
02 - Add some mushrooms and bell peppers for more veggies.
03 - You can prepare this in advance and reheat when ready.
