# Ingredients:

→ Brownies

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 cup brown sugar
04 - 4 large eggs
05 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
06 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
07 - 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
09 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

→ Caramel Cheesecake Layer

10 - 16 oz cream cheese, softened
11 - 1/2 cup caramel sauce
12 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar
13 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
14 - 1 cup heavy whipping cream

→ Assembly

15 - 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
16 - 1/2 cup caramel sauce, for drizzling
17 - 1/4 cup chocolate shavings or chocolate chips
18 - 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 175°C and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan. Whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder, and stir until combined. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool completely before cutting into bite-sized pieces.
02 - Beat softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add caramel sauce, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined. Whip heavy cream in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the caramel cheesecake mixture.
03 - Start with a layer of brownie pieces in a trifle dish or individual glasses. Add a layer of caramel cheesecake filling. Drizzle with caramel sauce. Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with whipped cream on top. Garnish with chocolate shavings, pecans, and caramel drizzle.
04 - Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld. Serve chilled and enjoy.

# Notes:

01 - Use homemade or store-bought brownies for convenience.
02 - Let brownies cool completely before assembling to prevent the cheesecake layer from melting.
03 - For extra crunch, add toffee bits or crushed cookies between layers.
04 - This trifle can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
