Tender beef slices stir-fried with fresh peppers and onions in a bold soy-based sauce. Quick and satisfying.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil.
02 - 1 pound of beef steak (flank, ribeye, or sirloin), cut thin.
03 - 1 red bell pepper, cut into slices.
04 - 1 green bell pepper, cut into slices.
05 - 1 onion, sliced up.
06 - 1 tablespoon oyster sauce.
07 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce.
08 - 1 teaspoon grated ginger.
09 - 2 cloves garlic, minced.
10 - 1 teaspoon cornstarch.
11 - 1/4 cup water or beef broth.

# Directions:

01 - Stir cornstarch, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Toss the beef in and let sit for at least 15 minutes.
02 - In hot oil, brown beef for around 1-2 minutes on each side. Take it off the pan afterward.
03 - Stir-fry onion and peppers for about 3-4 minutes. Add garlic and ginger afterward.
04 - Add beef back to the pan. Pour in broth and cook just 2-3 minutes till the sauce thickens.

# Notes:

01 - For softer beef, slice across the grain.
02 - Don't overcook veggies – they should stay a bit crisp.
03 - Tastes best right after cooking.
