Sweet Bacon Brussels (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 slices of bacon.
02 - 1/3 cup dried cranberries.
03 - 1 small yellow onion, diced.
04 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
05 - 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar.
06 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
08 - 2 tablespoons olive oil (extra virgin).
09 - 1/4 cup white sugar.
10 - 6 cups of Brussels sprouts, cut in half.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F and let it heat up.
02 - Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, pepper, cinnamon, and salt in a mixing bowl.
03 - Lay sprouts on a baking tray. Roast for 20 minutes, giving them a stir halfway.
04 - Fry bacon in a pan on medium heat until crisp. Set aside to cool, then crumble.
05 - Using the bacon grease left in the pan, cook onions for 3-4 minutes over medium heat.
06 - Pour in vinegar, cranberries, and sugar. Let it boil, and simmer for 4-5 minutes while stirring.
07 - Place the roasted sprouts into a serving bowl. Stir in the cooked cranberry mixture.
08 - Sprinkle crumbled bacon over the top. Enjoy warm.
