Chicken Alfredo Puffs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pizza Dough

01 - 1 tube (12.4 oz) Pillsbury pizza crust dough
02 - Crispy bacon strips, about 8 pieces
03 - 2 cups cooked rotisserie chicken, chopped
04 - 2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

→ Creamy Sauce

05 - 8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter
06 - 2 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
07 - Grated parmesan, 3/4 cup
08 - 6 finely chopped garlic cloves
09 - Salt and black pepper to taste
10 - Red pepper flakes, 1-2 teaspoons

→ Garlic Butter Mix

11 - 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
12 - 6 tablespoons butter
13 - Fresh parsley, finely chopped, 2 tablespoons
14 - Optional: a pinch of red pepper flakes
15 - 3 minced garlic cloves

# Instructions:

01 - Over medium-low heat, melt the butter in a pan. Toss in the garlic and stir it around for a minute. Gently pour in the cream, giving it a whisk as it warms. Let the sauce bubble softly for about 5 minutes, then mix in parmesan until melted. Simmer another couple minutes until thicker. Add salt, pepper, and a pinch of chili flakes to your liking.
02 - Turn the oven on to 425°F (400°F for a thinner crust). Put butter and minced garlic in a small bowl; microwave until slightly melted. Brush this mix inside the muffin cups. Stir in parmesan, parsley, and chili flakes into the leftover butter.
03 - Spread out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 10 by 15 inches. Cut 12 circles out of it (a glass works fine for this). Push each circle of dough into a muffin cup, spreading it along the bottom and sides.
04 - Start with a bit of shredded cheese at the bottom of each muffin. Add a spoonful of chicken next. Drizzle some sauce, sprinkle bacon crumbs, and then pile on more cheese to finish.
05 - Cook in the oven for about 10-14 minutes, turning the pan halfway through. Warm up the leftover butter blend and brush it on top of the finished cups. Serve alongside extra sauce if you want.

# Notes:

01 - You can prepare the sauce and keep it in the fridge up to 3 days ahead.
02 - Set the oven to 400°F when using a thinner dough.
03 - Mince enough garlic for both the sauce and the butter topping.
