# Ingredients:

01 - 12 part-skim cheese sticks
02 - ¼ cup all-purpose flour (use gluten-free if needed)
03 - 1 large egg
04 - ⅓ cup bread crumbs (use gluten-free if needed)
05 - 1 tsp onion powder
06 - 1 tsp garlic powder
07 - 1 tsp paprika

# Directions:

01 - Cut cheese sticks in half to produce 24 pieces.
02 - Place flour into a sandwich bag. Whisk the egg in a small, shallow dish. Combine bread crumbs, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt in another small, shallow dish.
03 - Place cheese sticks (a few at a time) in the sandwich bag with the flour. Lightly toss to coat, then tap off excess flour.
04 - Dip floured cheese sticks into the egg wash, ensuring complete coverage.
05 - Transfer cheese sticks to the breadcrumb mixture and completely coat. Use a small spoon if necessary to ensure full coverage.
06 - Place breaded cheese sticks on a silicone mat-lined baking dish. Freeze for at least 1 hour; can be stored frozen for weeks.
07 - Preheat air fryer to 385°F. Place frozen cheese sticks in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch. Spray tops with nonstick spray and cook for 5 minutes.
08 - Preheat oven to 425°F. Arrange frozen cheese sticks on a silicone mat or parchment paper-lined baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring there is no contact between them. Spray tops with nonstick spray and bake for 9-10 minutes.
09 - Serve mozzarella sticks immediately while warm. Pair with your favorite dipping sauce, such as marinara.
