Air Fryer Cream Cheese Wontons (Print Version)

Crispy cream cheese wontons made in the air fryer, ready in under 40 minutes and perfect for easy snacking.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
02 - 3 tablespoons chopped scallions
03 - 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder

→ Wrappers and assembly

05 - 24 wonton wrappers
06 - 1 large egg, whisked
07 - Cooking spray
08 - Sweet chili sauce, for dipping (optional)

# Directions:

01 - In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese, scallions, soy sauce, and garlic powder.
02 - In a separate small bowl, whisk the egg.
03 - Arrange the wonton wrappers on your work surface. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture into the center of each wonton wrapper. Wet your finger in the egg mixture, then trace around the edges of the wontons. Fold the four corners up to meet in the center, pressing along the seams to seal.
04 - Preheat the air fryer to 360°F.
05 - Spray the inside of the air fryer basket with cooking spray, then arrange a portion of the wontons in a single layer so that they aren’t touching. Spray the wontons with cooking spray and air fry for 8 to 10 minutes.

# Notes:

01 - Wonton shapes can be as simple or intricate as desired. For triangular shapes, fold one corner diagonally toward the opposite corner.
