→ Marinade Ingredients

01 - 2 pounds meat or vegetables of choice
02 - ½ cup olive oil
03 - 2 limes, zested and juiced
04 - 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped or grated
05 - 2 tablespoons agave nectar or honey
06 - 2 teaspoons ancho chile powder
07 - 1 ½ teaspoons ground cumin
08 - 1 ½ teaspoons smoked paprika
09 - ½ teaspoon dried oregano
10 - 2 teaspoons kosher salt
11 - 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

# Directions:

01 - In a medium bowl or jar, combine olive oil, lime zest, lime juice, garlic, agave nectar, ancho chile powder, ground cumin, smoked paprika, dried oregano, kosher salt, and ground black pepper. Whisk or shake to fully integrate the ingredients. Set aside or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
02 - Pour the marinade over your chosen meat or vegetables. Cover the bowl and let the contents marinate in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours.
03 - Grill or cook the marinated ingredients as desired. Serve and enjoy the zesty, spiced flavors.

# Notes:

01 - For the best results, marinate ingredients for approximately 6 hours. Avoid exceeding 8 hours due to the high lime juice content, which may affect texture. The marinade can be made ahead and stored for up to 5 days.
02 - Ancho chile powder provides mild-medium heat and rich flavor. If unavailable, substitute with a standard chili powder blend.
